SILA Urban Living

My wife and I spent three nights at SILA Ho Chi Minh, and we’d stay there again. The rooms were spacious and nicely presented, the location worked well for exploring Ho Chi Minh, and we thought breakfast was excellent. The staff made the biggest impression. Everyone was welcoming and gave great service throughout our stay. They even went far beyond what we expected by arranging to have an item I’d left at the hotel posted to our accommodation in Hanoi. We’re very grateful.

The staff were always friendly and ready to help, and the hotel had a lot to offer: a well-equipped gym with a broad selection of weights, plus a sauna and jacuzzi. There’s also a free laundry room in B1. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the rooms were, with what seemed to be an extra dining space in each one. The toilet and bathing areas were roomy, and having a kitchenette was a welcome extra.

We tried several hotels on our trip, and this was the best one. The rooms were clean and spacious, with everything we needed, several places to sit, and lots of surfaces for putting things down. I only missed having a luggage stand. The location is close to the action without feeling too touristy, which I liked. The large-ish gym and roomy, clean pool were nice, and towels were provided. The gym, pool, and sauna are open 24 hours. Staff were very kind.

We had a great stay, with comfortable rooms, a good location, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’d recommend the hotel and would gladly return. A small incident came up during our visit, and the team handled it exceptionally well. The two receptionists stayed professional, calm, polite, and supportive, so we felt cared for the whole time. The hotel manager also deserves special mention for his leadership, professionalism, and empathy. The way he guided the team through the situation gave us real peace of mind and showed a very high standard of service.
