The three-bedroom apartment worked really well for our large family, and the outdoor play areas were a nice extra for the kids. We especially appreciated the daily refill of the 20L drinking water bottle, along with the washing powder. After leaving Somerset Ho Chi Minh City, we’re at a five-star resort and miss those thoughtful touches. We enjoyed the pool and spa, and breakfast beside the pool was lovely. There was a good choice of food, including pho and a Vietnamese specialty cooked fresh while we waited. The apartment was very clean, the linen was crisp and fresh, and having a kitchen and laundry was so convenient. Everyone welcomed us with big smiles and was helpful and attentive. Lunch and dinner were a weaker point. The menu listed lots of spirits, but none were available, and there were only three kinds of beer. Our meals didn’t arrive together, and the food was okay but not amazing, which was disappointing given the otherwise high standard of the property. The dinner menu and food selection could be better. With improvements, I think more guests might choose to eat in after a long day sightseeing.

The outdoor pool and free gym were great, and we really liked the breakfast choices and the convenience store on site. Our room was spacious and had the best view. The staff were magnificent, from the front concierge and dining team to the lifeguards and maintenance crew. It’s a gem that caters well to families and all kinds of guests. We’ll definitely stay again when we visit Vietnam.

We stayed in a three-bedroom unit at Somerset Ho Chi Minh City from 19-23 November 2025, and the staff were professional, friendly, and attentive the whole time. After we accidentally left an iPad behind at checkout, the team arranged to get it all the way to the airport for us. Their honesty and genuine care really stood out and gave us peace of mind. A great choice for families or groups wanting comfort, convenience, and thoughtful hospitality.

The breakfast could use better choices for people who don’t eat meat. The rooms were modern, clean, and fully equipped, and the service was fast, friendly, and accommodating. It’s in a good spot in district 1, with plenty of convenience stores nearby, including Family mart and 7 eleven.

The Halloween party for the kids and residents was the highlight, so well organized and memorable. Staff were warm, attentive, and went out of their way to help. Our room was spacious and really comfortable, and the whole property was impeccably clean. Somerset Ho Chi Minh City was an outstanding place to stay, highly recommend it.
