The Like Hostel & Cafe

The rooms are good enough for a backpacker at the price listed, and you get one free beer per person each evening. Tours are much cheaper than on other websites, too. The vibe is cool, and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a “funny” episode with another guest one night, and the owner handled it appropriately. I appreciated that she was willing to talk things through with guests and reconsider her decisions. She makes you feel like you’re on the same level as her. Thanks, Willow’s Mum :)

The rooftop and a free beer each evening were a nice bonus, and the location was very convenient. I met so many wonderful travelers here, and the host and her dog are lovely. The atmosphere was amazing, and I was glad it wasn’t a party hostel. I had a perfect stay and highly recommend it.

The rooftop has a killer view, and everyone was welcoming and treated me like family. Willow is super chill, too. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds really comfy, and you can book tours and transportation here. On my second trip to HCMC, I found the location perfect: close to everything in D1, but still relatively calm, with lots of local food options nearby.

Great location, and a wonderful time with such lovely staff and people. You’ll walk a bijilliooon steps to enjoy yourself on the roof, then head downstairs for more beers and climb back up to take in the view. Not a bad thing at all! Willow is a good girl. I’d love to come back. Wish I could give this hostel more than five stars.
