Winsuites Sai Gon Hotel

The rooftop pool and bar were our favorite part. We spent time there each day with cocktails, taking in the great view, sunset, traffic, and city lights. Breakfast was a close second. For a small hotel there was a huge choice, including hot Western dishes, pastries, fruit, soup, Vietnamese breakfast foods, and an egg station. I missed Aussi coffee on holiday, but the percolated coffee here was the only one I’ve ever enjoyed. The hotel is in District 1, handy for sightseeing, markets, and street food. It was nicely appointed, good value, and the staff were friendly. There was a musty smell, as I noticed in places all over Vietnam, but I didn’t see any mold, which reassured me. Our room had a window for natural light, though the view was just the neighboring wall. That’s common in HCMC. The bed was very firm, but the quiet room let us sleep peacefully despite the traffic outside.

I loved how easy it was to explore from this central spot, with everything walkable and Ca Phe Linh, my favorite café, nearby. The staff were warm and welcoming, and I enjoyed the food. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included, so the price felt well worth it. The one letdown was the pool. It didn’t look clean enough to swim in, so I skipped it. Otherwise, it was a comfortable, lovely stay ☕️✨🌿

Our city-view room was comfortable, clean, and very nice, with a lovely view. Everything was as expected, and we felt looked after from arrival through the end of our stay. Tram deserves special mention for her friendly, professional, and helpful service. We had a wonderful time at Winsuite and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

The location is superb, with a train or subway entrance right across from the hotel. I didn’t try it, but I imagine it would be handy for anyone using it. The service was simple but great, and the park suite had a full-length window. Breakfast tasted fantastic, among the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. There wasn’t much variety, but I enjoyed it a lot. A super nice hotel.
