I made the mistake of booking before seeing the room. It wasn’t nice, and the foam mattress was very cheap. The owner was rude and unfriendly. Since the booking wasn’t refundable, we chose not to stay. If the low price draws you in, make sure you view the room first. I don’t think it’s worth 150k. I live in Indonesia and Vietnam, and rarely come across a mattress this cheap. You offered a more expensive room for that night, but after seeing the mattress, you could keep the booking. I wouldn’t have been able to sleep on it. You also said the room was half the size of the small one you showed me and wanted an extra $10 USD. I didn’t want to stay, and you got mad about it. You called me uneducated because I was honest? If I ran into people like you twice a year, I’d lose motivation. I can’t give a good review because the rooms weren’t good and your manner wasn’t friendly or nice. There are better-value places in town. I found one for the same price, with a pool and nice staff. Calling your place Friendly Hotel doesn’t make you friendly.

During our travels, this was honestly the coziest, cleanest place we’d stayed. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived, and the hotel and owner were always ready to help with whatever we needed. Their warmth and the personal care they gave every guest made the stay feel special. It’s rare to find that kind of kindness and dedication, and you can tell they want people to be comfortable and happy. Thanks for such a lovely experience. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere cozy, clean, and welcoming 💛

Mr Truong was such a friendly, helpful host while we were there. He arranged a great tour for us and helped book our onward travel. The hotel was amazing, with really clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and delicious food and coffee. I’d definitely recommend staying here :)

The breakfast was superb, and the rooms were gorgeous and clean. The host was thoughtful and had all the tours and other things you need to explore Nihn Bihn. I had a great time and wish the host and his friendly family all the best. It’s hard to praise this place enough.

We checked out in the morning, and the hosts kindly let us leave our bags there from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. They’re very friendly and accommodating. It’s great for a night in Ninh Binh, though the town is a bit far away if you’re staying longer.
