The view across the farmland was incredible. In the morning we watched locals go about their day, bikes loaded with straw, men in uniforms heading to work, and women carrying baskets full of hidden treasures. It felt like a quieter world where life moves more slowly and everything feels appreciated. The rooms sit right against the mountainside, so it feels as if you’re joining the landscape. They had AC and a mini-fridge, the bathrooms were large and well kept, the bedding was clean, and the firm mattresses suited me. I also loved the pool, especially a relaxing evening swim with the lights making the place look beautiful. We visited in the down season, so my group had the whole homestay to ourselves. After a long day of travel, the staff greeted us with cold drinks and helped organize outings for the next couple of days. They were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and it was great to get recommendations and have them book transport for us. I stayed a couple of days, and it was one of the highlights of my time in Vietnam. I couldn’t recommend it enough!

I booked a room and transport from Hanoi at short notice, the evening before, using WhatsApp ;). My room was big for one person and very clean. It was nice to relax by the pool or on the small porch outside the room, and the homestay’s bicycles are free to use. Tam Coc Mr. Loa Homestay is calm and clean, away from a busy road but within easy reach of the town center, pagodas and mountains. The staff were kind and helpful, and invited me to join their lunch before I left for Hanoi. I’d come back if I’m in Tam Coc again.

Emily and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and gave us great ideas for things to do. We also had some of the best breakfast and coffee of our trip. The property is beautifully kept, with fantastic views and a pool that felt great after a long day. The rooms were clean, with great AC and Wi-Fi. This is a genuine 10/10 homestay, and Ninh Binh would be a very relaxing place to stay here.

This was our favorite place to stay in all of Vietnam, and everything about the visit with my friends was awesome. The setting is gorgeous, the scenery is beautiful, and the staff are super friendly. Rooms were comfortable and spacious. Tom also knows as King was so accommodating. He made it easy for us to add two more nights because we loved the place so much. A must stay in Tam coc. You won’t have any trouble here, and I’m sure we’ll come back!

The resort is right by a huge rock formation and looks out over a rice field, so you’re already surrounded by the area’s beauty without needing to take any tours. It’s in the Tam Coc area of Ninh Binh. What made the place special for me was the family running it. They were professional and hospitable while still making us feel like guests in their home. They’ve put a lot of work into creating a beautiful, convenient landscape around the resort. I definitely recommend it!
