Lotus Hotel Ninh Binh

The owners were so, so kind. They even gave me flowers and a bottle of wine for my birthday, which was really sweet. The room was clean and comfortable, and the whole place was peaceful and quiet. There are free bikes too. I liked being just outside the city, but still within walking distance of some great restaurants. I especially loved clay pot restaurant, and it was a quick Grab ride to the more touristy part of Ninh Binh. I’d absolutely stay here again. Thanks, Lotus Hotel & family!

The setting was calm and lovely, and we wished we’d had more time there. Breakfast was straightforward but tasty each morning. The owner and his wife were kind and helpful, and their dogs were so cute. It’s easy to walk around the area, with a few restaurants close by. The hotel can also make afternoon food if you order before 1600. We’d absolutely recommend it.

Van made our one-night stop during our Ninh Binh tour especially memorable. She shared local tips, arranged an early breakfast so we could eat before heading out, and later couriered a charger we’d left in the room to our hotel in Hanoi. The staff were wonderful, and Van’s help went well beyond what we expected. We’d gladly recommend this place to other travelers.

We borrowed the hotel bicycles for free and rented a Yamaha scooter at a good price. The scooter got us to the Cuc Phuong Endangered Primates Rescue Center without any trouble. After two nights, we left impressed by the friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and how clean the hotel was. It’s peaceful here while still being near the main attractions, and they cleaned our room in the morning. 10/10.
