Nan House

We had such a lovely room, and the breakfast was even better. Free bikes let us explore Nihn Bihn, and we also rented a moped really cheaply for trips further out. The location in Tam Coc is away from the busy streets but close enough to walk into town. This was the best stay of our Vietnam trip. If you’re coming to Tam Coc, I couldn’t recommend the place and its wonderful hosts enough.

The owners, who are a family, gave me great recommendations and helped with several requests. Their service was outstanding, and I can definitely recommend the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Being outside the city center made it quiet and relaxing. My room was clean and spacious, and the outdoor area was beautiful, with lots of plants, a pool, and a small pond beside the restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day.

The garden was lush and lovely to walk around, and waking to roosters crowing brought back memories of growing up in Vietnam. We only stayed one night while visiting Ninh Binh, and the owner, Tuan, was the most welcoming host we’ve ever met. He checked us in quickly, and our huge room was beautifully decorated and very clean. We had an early shuttle to Lan Ha Bay and couldn’t have the usual hotel breakfast, so he got up early and made us breakfast. So thoughtful and sweet. He was friendly and made us feel like family. Thank you, anh Tuan. We hope we can stay longer next time and will recommend Nan House to everyone visiting Ninh Binh.

There are lovely places to sit outside and a nice, clean pool. Breakfast is cooked individually, with fresh fruit, and the owner Tuan, his family, and the staff are all so helpful and friendly. It’s a quick walk into the center, and there are free biomes to ride through the stunning countryside. The rooms are really comfortable, with plenty of space to unpack your clothes, something sadly lacking in most modern hotels. Great homestay. Just choose Nan House if you’re staying in Tam Coc.
