Urchin Apartment

The room was spacious enough for our family, and there's a lake just three minutes away that's handy for a morning jog. Lotte Mall is also only about a 5-8 minute walk away, so the location worked really well.

I was left scrambling for somewhere to stay because the host wouldn't sort out the booking. I had reserved a 2-bedroom apartment, but only five minutes before check-in they said it wasn't available and offered a 1-bedroom. I turned that down, then they suggested a 3-bedroom for an extra charge. It felt like they were trying to push me into paying more. I ended up spending two extra hours at the airport with my small child while urgently finding new accommodation. Avoid this place if you don't want the same experience.

Bright, modern and comfortable apartment. Perfect..!

Getting to the place was already awkward, tucked away in a small alley about a 10-minute walk from the main road. Inside, we found a small, dirty apartment: sticky floor, filthy floor mats, sticky sandals, and towels with heavy stains and residue. The narrow metal stairs to the fourth floor were dangerous to use, especially with big bags, and the slanted ceilings in the bedrooms and bathrooms meant you couldn't stand straight. The fire escape door handle was broken, so we couldn't get to the escape ladder. We had booked and paid for a Luxury Apartment but were given a top-floor Classic Loft. Management blamed the booking system. I spent over three hours complaining over WhatsApp, and when the cleaning lady brought replacement towels at 10pm, those were stained too. Then management told the booking platform we were checking out after one night, after we'd asked for a refund of the price difference for the room we paid for and received. It was truly horrible. Book at your own peril.
