The bicycles were a good deal, about €3.50 for two for the whole day, and they were just right for exploring the rivers, little paths, and the friendly people around the area. The bikes could use some upkeep, especially tightening and oiling the chains. Back at Tam Kok Koi Homestay, we slept peacefully in a comfortable, clean room and found the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but fresh and tasty, with fruit, toast and eggs, plus a small pancake. I’d book again, and next time I’d bring my swimwear for the small pool.

The location made it easy to explore, just a two-minute walk from the Tam Coc boat ride and right in the lively part of Tam Coc, with everything nearby. We had a comfortable three-day, two-night stay, and the owner was very accommodating. For less than ₱1,000, around $18, per night, breakfast was included. It was generous, with three kinds of fruit, bread, two eggs, and a crepe, more than enough for one person. After long day tours, we enjoyed using the pool every night. The owner’s hospitality stood out, too. At checkout, they gave us a bottle of water and two rice crispies for our trip back to Hanoi, free of charge. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Ninh Binh, especially Tam Coc.

We were comfortable enough to turn our original three-night booking into a whole week. The family were so lovely, always sharing snacks and helping with whatever we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. Amazing stay, definitely recommend!

The owner’s warm smile and kindness made our time in Tam Coc especially memorable. The welcome was wonderful, and the whole stay felt truly special. Our room was spacious and clean, the surrounding area was well cared for, and breakfast was rich every day. Thank you for everything!

Breakfast was a lovely spread of fruit and eggs or omelettes, brought with a smile and a very cute toddler along. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the courtyard was peaceful and pretty. It’s a great spot, just off Tam Coc’s main square, so it feels central without being hectic. We could rent bikes for a tiny fee and exchange money at a reasonable rate. A fabulous homestay with a lovely family. Thank you!
