Tam Coc Mountain Bungalow

Xoan was what made My Tam Coc Bungalow especially memorable. When I arrived, she sat down with me and explained the main things to know about Ninh Binh and what she thought I should see. I then got food poisoning and was stuck in bed on the day I’d planned to tour. She let me book another night, checked on me often, and went into town to get bread, bananas, and water while I recovered. Those small acts say a lot about the people running the place. The property is beautiful and the rooms are clean. I’d happily return to My Tam Coc Bungalow if I get the chance to see the area’s beautiful sights.

The motorbikes for rent were old and a bit rusty, and not up to the mark. Staff were helpful, but very busy and had to be reminded several times. The food was decent. We had a short, peaceful, safe stay about 2 km from the city center. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and all the amenities were brand new, so perhaps the place had only recently opened.

We loved how calm it was here, tucked a little way outside town with a cliff behind the property. The room was clean and nicely air-conditioned, and our dorm bed felt quite large by our standards. The owner was so kind and made us feel welcome right away. She also helped us plan our next trip and cooked fresh breakfast every morning. A highlight of our trip.

We spent our days cycling around the water loop and loved it. The place is peaceful at night, yet only about a five-minute bike ride from town, with the attractions close by and easy to reach on foot or by bicycle. Our room was spacious and clean, and the pool was in good shape and clean too. The host was welcoming and helpful, and we could rent bicycles or motorbikes cheaply. Breakfast was lovely and inexpensive. I'd happily recommend it for a Tam Coc or Ninh Binh stay.
