The stream and pool area gave the resort such a relaxing feel, and the setting among nature was lovely and peaceful. Our room was clean and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Tú,Mỹ Nữ and Vũ are so cute and friendly. We had a wonderful stay at LangCo Bay Retreat, a great place for families or anyone wanting to unwind. I’d love to return!

The swimming pool is beautiful and right by the beach, and the rooms are clean and feel private. Tham and Victor were very friendly. Breakfast had a big choice of both European and Vietnamese dishes. I would have liked banana pancakes, but I’d still recommend staying here.

I was disappointed that, during our only stay at this beautiful resort, I couldn’t properly shower after swimming. There was no hot water available in the shower, so I couldn’t wash my hair properly. Some of my hair color came off onto a towel in the pool water. I don’t like doing hair treatment in a cold shower, especially when it takes a long time. The shower had been hot at the start, and the sink faucet was hot too, so being told later that there was a button to turn on hot water made little sense. At 10 PM, they offered to send someone to fix it, but hadn’t explained the button earlier, and we weren’t keen to deal with maintenance that late. What bothered me most was being charged 150 000 for a replacement towel over a problem caused by the room facilities. It felt petty and below the service I’d expect from a 5-star resort. The staff were generally kind, and the resort itself is beautiful, but the way they handled this left me honestly disappointed.

The room was lovely and spacious, and all the staff were excellent. I’d stay again and recommend the hotel, though there are a few things to keep in mind. There aren’t many other places to eat within walking distance, and the restaurant here is pricey despite the nice setting. An unopened can of Huda beer cost 79,000 dong, which felt steep. You can choose whether to eat or drink there, of course. Breakfast was a mix of a la carte and buffet when we visited. My English breakfast was lukewarm at best, which was disappointing. Even with the restaurant prices, I’m still giving it five stars because it’s an excellent place to stay.

We had such a peaceful, laid-back stay and would come back. The weather was cloudy, rainy, cool, and rough the whole time we were at Lăng Cô Bay retreat for 4N3D. We never got to enjoy the two gorgeous pools because of the rain, and only used the dining room. There weren’t many other guests around, which is a shame because the place deserves more business. The staff, from reception to the dining room, were helpful, attentive, and polite, and tried hard to make things nice despite the weather. They even apologized for it, lol. Our ocean-front room was massive: a separate living room, a huge bedroom, and a bathroom with a tub rather than a shower, plus a lovely enclosed outdoor shower. The heated water made showering enjoyable even in the cool weather. We could hear the waves, and sliding doors in both the bedroom and living room opened straight out to the ocean and a sitting area. Breakfast was adequate, with enough options for Eastern and Western tastes. There was a hot station for made-to-order omelettes, pho, or Bún Bò Huế, and the coffee was excellent. For the real Vietnamese coffee experience, get the ready-made one. Since the retreat is somewhat isolated, there aren’t many outside meal choices. We had dinner there twice because of the rain. The food was decent but quite pricey. Walk about seven minutes down the lane in front of the retreat toward the lake for more local food. We ate seafood at a restaurant on the lake, and three dishes with rice and drinks for two were a bit cheaper and much better value than eating at the retreat. You’re paying for convenience there. Another option is to walk along the gorgeous fine-sand beach to a seafood restaurant.
