SBH Gloria Hue

We had the worst service. There were 7 children and 6 adults in our family. My 74 year old mom booked the stay 3 month ago, and we reserved 4 rooms on the 1st floor. They wanted to put us in 4 rooms on the 2nd floor instead, which was less expensive even though we had already paid for the 1st floor. My mom had to argue to get the rooms, and the whole family waited outside for more then 1 hour. Then the manager disputed with my mom and yelled at her, treating her very impolitely. The director, a white guy, was even worse and didn’t listen to us at all. All the staff were very impolite. They never offered an apology. I don’t recommend this place for families. The water pool is dangerous and unsafe. The entry border is inclined and very slippery, so you can easily fall.

The rooms are right by the beach, just 3-5 minutes away. Such an ideal location! We were surprised by how large the facilities were, with two pools and a spa area. Our booking included a buffet breakfast with a variety of food. Thank you!

The pool was unavailable because of the rainy season, which was a bit disappointing. Even so, my stay at SBH Gloria Hue Resort was truly satisfying, with excellent value for money. The facilities were well maintained, and the rooms and common areas were spotlessly clean throughout. The staff were extremely welcoming and kind, and the food was delicious and well prepared. I looked forward to it every day. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Hue.

My family was staying at SBH Gloria Hue, and I only wanted to have dinner at the restaurant with other family members. We weren’t asking to use the pool or beach, just to eat. But the resort made me buy a “coffee round ticket” as an entrance fee. I felt unwelcome, and this policy seems unreasonable and unfriendly to guests. If people pay for their meal, the restaurant should welcome both guests staying at the resort and outside visitors. Making a family dinner this difficult could cost SBH Gloria Hue customer trust. They really need to reconsider the policy.
