For $7, we got a big bed, air conditioning, and a huge, beautiful balcony. The accommodation was really nice. The bathroom is shared, but with just two rooms per floor, that wasn’t a problem. I’d recommend it.

At 4 pm, we were told the hotel was full because a guest hadn’t checked out, and they asked us to move to Thanh An 2 Guesthouse, a place that isn’t on GoogleMaps. We had only planned to stay here for two nights, so this was a disappointing surprise. The room at the other place smelled strongly of damp, was right next to another building with no fresh air, had very thin walls, and water came down from the toilets upstairs. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, though. Hope this helps!

The room didn’t match what I’d seen, and the service and attitude toward customers were poor. I’d booked ahead, but other guests were put in the room and my booking was then canceled. I won’t come back.

We were very happy with our stay. The place was lovely for the price, and the owners were kind and spoke English quite well. The lady helped us figure out buses and other things we needed.

My only problem with this place was that the bathroom was small.
