We had trouble getting the camping deal we’d been told about. An English-speaking staff member outside confirmed 250k with breakfast for the self-camping area, where you bring your own gear. At reception, staff first said it wasn’t available because the place was full, even though the camping area was completely empty and we were the only ones there. I had to raise my voice in Vietnamese and repeat what my friends had already explained in English before we got the package. They also withheld our breakfast tickets, and I had to raise my voice in Vietnamese again to get those. If you only speak English at reception, you may not be served or taken seriously. There wasn’t any customer service once we were inside, either. I don’t understand why we were refused just for speaking English. This is a fun, disorganized bohemian spot by the beach, but the customer service is poor. It seems aimed mainly at locals, or at foreign visitors who can put up with severe crowds, very loud noise, and little hygiene. It might suit you if you’re on a budget or looking for drunken fun. Don’t expect other guests to be considerate or polite. Female travelers should be especially cautious around drunk men who keep going into the women’s bathroom.

It’s pretty far from everything, but the beachfront bungalow was decent for what we paid. The WiFi and hot shower were both slow. They charged extra for any food or drinks brought in from outside. Staff were okay, and there was a nice little coffee shop.

I proposed to my girlfriend here, and it went just as perfectly as I’d hoped. The staff were helpful and smart, the room was nice, and there were lots of spots for pictures. The beach was clean, too. Food costs a bit much, and there aren’t many other options if you’re staying here. They did have a 500K BBQ, though, and it was definitely worth every penny. I’ll come back for sure.

There’s a long, wide beach here with plenty of room for groups or solo activities, and the food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. For a night, cabins cost 600k and tents 150k, or you can bring your own tent. It’s a great weekend atmosphere for young people. Just keep in mind it’s a camping site rather than a resort, so it might not be comfortable enough for families with small kids or older people.
