VIET TRUNG Hotel

The view of China was incredible, and I found the hotel both interesting and comfortable. My room looked onto the courtyard, but I still got enough fresh air that I didn't need the air conditioner. The shower and toilet were comfortable to use. There was an interesting selection in the minibar, plus a kettle, coffee, and tea in the room. The instructions clearly explained what was included in the room price and what cost extra. There's also a drinking water cooler near reception. The staff were very friendly and accommodated my request to change my stay dates. Thank you very much.

The view down the street toward the river and China is beautiful. I didn't have much money, so I booked an interior room without the river view, but the receptionist told me I could go up to the seventh-floor terrace. It's airy up there, with a few tables and chairs for guests to enjoy the view. So cool. I didn't expect Lao Cai to have such a cute hotel. The rooms are clean and fully equipped, the layout is harmonious, and the toilets are much better than at four- or five-star hotels. My favorite detail was the two lovely vases of roses on the lobby table. The owner must love natural flowers and beautiful plants. It's a really cute place, and I'll definitely stay here next time I come.

Restaurants and cafes all around made the location really convenient. My clean room also had a beautiful view, facing the Chinese market.
