The beach was enjoyable, though strong winds, waves, and current made swimming less comfortable during my stay. At night, you can hear the waves clearly, which some people may find relaxing. Fleur de Lys Resort is spread over a large property, with small villas and houses instead of the usual high-rise hotel. It felt calm and peaceful. The pool was pleasant, with a bar nearby for drinks and food. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with especially comfortable beds and a selection of movies on the TV for the evening. The staff were friendly and smiling. We could call for an electric golf cart, and a staff member would pick us up at our villa and take us to the restaurant, pool, or elsewhere on the grounds. They could also bring us back after dinner, which was useful given the size of the property. The restaurant’s dishes were good and nicely presented, though a bit expensive. Service sometimes lacked responsiveness or professionalism, even while the staff stayed kind and welcoming. A good spot for a few quiet, relaxing days by the sea.

The food was exceptional, and the prices were reasonable. The resort has a lovely beach with a cool breeze in the early morning and evening. It’s also close to HCM city, and the beach location is good. The staff were attentive and paid attention to details. I’d keep staying here whenever we visit Vietnam.

Mr. Tinh at reception and Mr. Hai, the driver, were both very hospitable. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was decent in a comfortable space. We had a wonderful stay at the resort. Thanks, and see you again soon!

Breakfast had a great range of delicious options. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, the mi xao hai san, and the fresh bread with butter they brought as an appetizer was amazing. At the spa I had a 60-minute full body aromatherapy massage. It was very relaxing, and while it costs more, the quality felt worth it. The staff were kind and polite, spoke English quite well, and I’d recommend booking the massage ahead. I stayed one night on a weekend trip from Saigon and left very satisfied. The grounds are large, beautiful, and well maintained, with direct beach access and a big, shallow pool with lots of sunbeds. The sea was very clean and had sunbeds too. My room was beautiful but could use some renovation. The bathtub was a little yellowed and didn’t look as nice anymore, though the outdoor tub was spacious and amazing to use. The bed felt a bit firm, which seems common in Vietnam. I had everything I needed and two complimentary bottles of water, but the minibar was empty. I would have appreciated being able to get more water, even for an extra charge. Everyone at the hotel was friendly, attentive, polite, and spoke English well. I had a great stay. Thank you!

It’s a nice place away from the busy areas. The beach isn’t big, but it’s nice for swimming despite the waves. Breakfast is okay, and the staff are very friendly. Getting around to explore is easier if you bring your own transport, since it’s a little out of the way. For drinks, ask Nam Khanh at the bar.
