The room was clean, and we could park our bikes at the property for free. Check-in and checkout were easy, the internet worked well, and the mattress and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning worked too. It’s in a convenient, quiet alley, and there’s a lift for people with luggage. The price is great for what you get, but there’s no soundproofing, so noise depends on the other guests. Noise pollution is a major issue in the country and hard to avoid. We were lucky that everyone was in bed at night, though it was another story during the day.

Would I stay again? No. There’s another hotel around the corner that knocks the socks off this place. After an epic journey I was asked for cash up front. I was counting out the money to see if I had enough when he said they didn’t take Visa. It turns out they do take Vietnamese Visa cards, but they assumed mine was foreign. It isn’t. The room was fine, though I removed two hairs from the bed, possibly pubic, and told myself I was tired. There was no water or kettle in the room, so this felt like a place just for sleeping. I went out because there was no water. My Tho is a lovely town, and the experience at The World Hotel doesn’t reflect the hospitality I’ve had elsewhere.

The room was nice and clean, with a comfortable bed, fridge, TV, air conditioning, kettle and a spacious bathroom. Each morning from 5-6, though, public information came over a loudspeaker. My bathroom window faced that direction and couldn’t be closed. The noise might not affect every side of the building.

For the price, it was good. The room was small but "clean" and suitable for a stay, with working air conditioning, a fridge and TV. There’s a lift in the hotel. No safe in the room. Thanks.
