Anrizon Nha Trang Hotel

I've stayed here several times, and the experience has been excellent each time. The staff are welcoming and the service is outstanding. Receptionist Ahn deserves a special mention for being exceptionally kind and helpful. The location is convenient, with a restaurant right on the first floor. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely return on my next visit.

The hotel was nothing like the advertisement, and the whole setup felt disorganized. The actual hotel is crammed into a separate building, with a restaurant randomly attached. I booked online, but there was no mention that they would keep my passport until checkout. I needed it with me in case the police stopped me while I was driving, and the receptionist didn't care at all. The staff were aggressive, almost hostile, and showed no empathy or willingness to help. It felt like a scam, and the place was a joke. Avoid it. There are plenty of legitimate hotels nearby, so book somewhere else.

We had a medium pho bo, spring rolls, baked oysters, fries and steak, with Saigon beer, a piña colada and watermelon juice. The pho portion was large, though the broth could've been better. The spring rolls had an odd aftertaste, perhaps from soybean oil or some other oil that had been used before, but I'm not sure. The baked oysters were really good. Steak was okay and a nice size. The drinks were all good, no complaints there.

The room was a good size and comfortable for the price, and I liked that the hotel was about 4 km from the touristy town centre. That distance also explains the lower room cost. But the room smelled horrible. They brought up things to cover the smell, then didn't refill them and even removed them once. The cleaners didn't do a good job, either. Worse, they'd change my AC setting from 18 to 24C. It's my room, and I set the temperature. Wi-Fi coverage was terrible and slow. My wife had to sit on the floor by the door to get a decent signal.
