Astica Hotel Nha Trang

The room was beautiful and about 95% clean. They left two new free bottles of water each day when the room was cleaned. I noticed a few insects that looked like food moths, but they never moved, so I could ignore them. There were yellow dots on the toilet seat that I hoped weren't what I thought they were. Wet toilet paper didn't shift them, so I left them. The bathroom window couldn't be closed, which meant traffic noise came in. I'd keep the bathroom door shut at night. The buffet was huge, with cold options like bread, sausage cold cuts, salad, and fruit. There were also dishes that were supposed to be hot but were actually cold. You could order different kinds of eggs or chicken pho, which was really warm. The only downside was getting exactly the same food every day.

The room was quiet, and the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect, and the price is more than affordable. They took care of everything at Astica, and we felt so comfortable during our stay. We'd recommend it to others, and if we come back to Nha Trang, we'll keep coming back here.

On arrival, we found a filthy bathroom that clearly hadn't been cleaned: dried yellow urine on the toilet seat, hair, floss, and dirt everywhere. I asked reception to send someone, but the cleaner looked at it and said it wasn't dirty. Reception came up and apologized, but said they couldn't move us until he spoke to the manager the next day. They moved us the following day, but the new room was dirty too. It was cleaned again while we were out, and still wasn't good enough when we got back. We were tired of it and had no faith in the hotel's cleaners, so we cleaned the room ourselves. We even found a tiny bloody animal bone on the floor. I spoke to reception several times and insisted staff need to use cleaning products for hygiene between guests. He agreed, but I don't believe this hotel follows hygiene protocols.

We've booked rooms at this hotel three times for our family. The staff, from reception and crew to the buffet assistants and security, have always been supportive, professional, and courteous. They take the initiative to offer reasonable help without being asked. Highly recommended!
