Daphovina Hotel

The staff made a big impression on us, especially with our kids. They played little games, said hello, and made the children feel welcome. The team was also attentive to practical things, bringing extra pillows and towels without hesitation. When we left several items at our previous resort, they helped receive them by courier while we were at the beach. We were also pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a Family Ocean View room with a king-size bed, which made a big difference for our family. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with lots of Western and Vietnamese choices, plus egg and soup stations. They even served unusual dishes each day, like crocodile stew one day and ostrich another. We also appreciated the beach vouchers for two hours of beach chairs. Amenities include a kids' playroom, a pool overlooking the beach, a gym, a sauna for an extra fee, and a new rooftop bar. The bar had just opened for New Year's Eve during our stay, and the cocktails and atmosphere were excellent, a great way to end the day. Daphovina Hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the beach, making it handy for families and anyone who wants easy ocean access while being a little away from the busiest areas. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, spas, and grocery stores nearby. Service was exceptional from the moment we arrived, and the staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to help. The comfortable stay and family-friendly amenities would bring us back, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Nha Trang.

I couldn't recommend this hotel more, especially for the people who work here. Everyone is polite, kind, and incredibly helpful. The kitchen team deserves a thank you too, the food is amazing. A special mention for Ngoc Huyen at the front desk. She's honestly the best: always smiling, so welcoming, and beyond helpful. They're lucky to have her. The location is amazing as well.

The pool was small, and the gym was a major letdown. I expected at least basic equipment, but it was mostly treadmills, two yoga mats, a few free weights, and just one strength machine. It's in a patio, basically open air, with no air conditioning. Even though the sea is nearby, you have to walk south to reach a spot where you can enjoy the beach or swim. Cleanliness was my main problem. I saw hairs coming off a dirty mop, and after cleaning there were extra hairs in my room that weren't mine. The shower has no door or curtain, and its drain clogs constantly, so water spills over to the toilet every time. They never changed the bedding during my 8-night stay. The slippers were badly worn and gross, the bathrobe had yellow stains around the neck, and the towels had threads hanging out. At least the towels were clean and replaced daily. Breakfast was okay in taste, but not what you'd expect: most choices were stews and other things that aren't typical breakfast food, and the coffee was instant. I also saw people touch the salad vegetables with their hands. Staff were generally friendly, but not especially helpful, and some had trouble understanding English. I picked somewhere that wasn't the cheapest in Nha Trang, though still reasonably priced, and had modest expectations. I was disappointed they weren't met.

We enjoyed our stay in December 2025. The hotel is near the northern beach's first line. The rooms are on the small side, but very clean and nice, with excellent beds and comfortable pillows. There's a pool, a bar, and a little rooftop gym, along with a large restaurant. The breakfasts were excellent for this level. The staff were helpful, spoke English, and were always ready to assist.
