We left after 15 minutes without spending the night, but they still charged us. The room was unbearably smelly, and it was freezing with no heater. The sheets were dirty, and everything reeked of smoke even though it was meant to be a non-smoking room. I don’t think they ever clean it. We also had to carry our suitcases up four flights of stairs, with no offer of help. Awful experience, don’t stay here.

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but renting a motorbike for two days was quick and easy. We could also book a bus ticket there, which was really convenient.

I had a great time here. The family who owns the hotel were kind and helpful, and my room was clean and spacious. It was a quiet location.

We had a confirmed booking for one night, but when we arrived the owner said they were full and had no room for us. He said we should have called him to make a reservation. Very unprofessional. It was a busy Saturday and we couldn’t find anywhere else to stay, so we left Sapa.

Good.
