Golden Summer Hotel Nha Trang

It's close to the sea and right in the tourist area, with a great breakfast. The hotel itself is typical of Asia. Across the street there's a nightclub that blasts music until midnight, so this suits you if you like loud music. You can only sleep if you're completely drunk.

For 25,000 won a night, I thought it was reasonable. The room was clean and the free breakfast helped make up for a reception desk that was a bit picky. I hadn't booked through the hotel app, and they quoted more than the app showed when I asked for a room. I booked through the app right in front of them and got the room. It was ridiculous. There was free water too, and although the shower pressure was weak, I didn't mind since it seemed the same everywhere in Vietnam. The hotel is near the beach, which made it convenient to leave our luggage. I only have a hunch, but during the trip my companion and I each found $100 missing from our wallets. This was the only time I'd carried money without it, so I suspect someone might have used a master key to open the door and quietly taken a few bills without anyone noticing.

I found this place through Lonely Planet. It's in central Nha Trang near the beach, and the room was clean and spacious. There was some noise from ongoing construction of hotel facilities, as they add more options for tourists. Have a good trip.

The rooms are good, and the beach is about 100m away. I'd consider staying here on a future trip to Nha Trang.
