There were ants all over the room when I arrived, at the sink, on the door and walls, across the floor, and even under the bed and on it. I asked reception if I could move rooms, but apparently the hotel was full. He said they’d clean it tomorrow, which meant I was expected to sleep surrounded by ants. I tried to get rid of them myself because the staff didn’t seem to care. Fortunately, I could change hotels the next morning. They didn’t even apologize for the inconvenience.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the hotel is right in the heart of town, just a few minutes on foot from the beach. For what I paid, I thought it was super cool. Thanks to everyone.
