The affordable price is the main reason I’m giving this place four stars. The location is good, and the deal is great. Our room was mostly fine, though there was an unpleasant smell coming from the floor drain in the toilet. Staff didn’t give us a receipt after payment until we asked, and the one they handed over was in Vietnamese, which we couldn’t understand.
Hard to beat the price around here!
The staff are friendly, and the breakfast is fresh and filling. We’re staying here now, and everything’s very clean. The hotel has been renovated; our deluxe room is spacious, as are the bathroom and shower, and the balcony isn’t small either. For Vietnam, it’s a pretty decent hotel.
We’ve been here five days, and they still haven’t changed the sheets. The WiFi is very weak, and the breakfast, if you can call it that, is pathetic: just eggs and toast. They gave us a room before midnight for 250 tenge. The hotel itself is so-so.
We lost half a day of our vacation trying to find somewhere to stay after the hotel said our reservation had disappeared. They sent us to a lower-grade hotel, and the front desk tried to add extra charges. The hotel taxi driver drove us all over the city. We had nowhere to stay, and the whole thing was a nightmare.
