King Town Hotel

A good budget stay right in the city, about five minutes from the beach. The manager was kind and upgraded me on his own to a fairly large family room. The small pool on the top floor was clean too.

There were no outside-facing windows, so the room felt really oppressive, and the air conditioning barely worked. The cleanliness was awful too: sand in the bed, a dirty sticky floor, and, worst of all, a big cockroach in the room. I was extremely disappointed by my two-night stay. The photos clearly don't match what it's actually like. I absolutely wouldn't recommend this place.

The location is nice and the price really is cheap, but the towel smelled bad and there were ants in the room. We asked a worker to book bus tickets for us. She charged an extra fee, which was fine, but the bus was in the worst condition and cost the most. She also misled us about what type of bus it was.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was hot water for the bath. The price and location were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It had everything I needed.
