It was easy to find the hotel, and we could walk there from where the bus dropped us off. The room itself was nice, with working air conditioning, TV, and Wi-Fi. The ad photo is misleading, though: it makes the hotel look directly across from the beach, but if you look closely, it’s two pictures pasted together. Still, it was a nice place.

The accommodation was about average for Vietnam, though having a terrace helped. Guests in rooms without one have nowhere to dry wet clothes and don’t get to see the natural sunlight. The girl at reception was very nice and helpful, and her colleague was good and supportive too.

The service was friendly, but the room was dirty, with lots of little ants on the floor and some on the bed. We also saw a lizard on the wall and couldn’t get it out. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and the spigot kept dripping. The hotel photos have probably been edited in Photoshop. Very disappointing.

For $6, it’s a good deal if you’re on a budget. We got what we paid for: a decent place with air conditioning, hot water, closets, a fan, shampoo, and soap.

At 300,000 VND ($13), this is a great affordable hotel. It’s central and convenient for restaurants and shopping, and only 150 m from the beach. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and they offer inexpensive daily tours.
