Solana Beachfront Apartment - Muong Thanh Nha Trang

We paid 2.5 million VND, around $100, for one night on February 19, and the apartment was shockingly dirty. Cockroaches crawled over the kitchen surfaces and utensils, the few forks and spoons were too dirty to use, and an iguana ran across the room during check-in. The whole place smelled awful. When we switched on the air conditioner, it blew dust and a strong bad odor into the room. We couldn't sleep because bedbugs bit us all night, and we had only one dirty blanket. The bed hadn't been made, there were no proper blankets or basic toiletries like soap, and one bathroom had a broken door and couldn't be used. In the morning, we asked the owner for at least a partial refund because the apartment was clearly unlivable. He shouted at us, got aggressive, and threatened not to give our passports back. He only called cleaners after we began taking photos. We were traveling with a child and another adult, but he showed no concern. For what they charge, this place is completely unacceptable. If cleanliness, safety, and basic respect matter to you, avoid it.

The location is handy, with lots of shops and supermarkets nearby. There's a parking lot across the road in front of the building, and motorbike parking in the basement costs 5k VND each time you enter or leave. As a place just to sleep, it could be okay, but look elsewhere if you expect more from the room. The room itself is old and dusty, including the tables, chairs, and windows. There's no wardrobe, the TV lags, the air conditioner doesn't cool well, and only the freezer part of the refrigerator works.

The room was clean and airy, and getting around from this convenient spot was easy. The beach is just across the street from An's House.

The boss was handsome, enthusiastic, and easy to deal with. Everything was great. ❤️
