Starlet Hotel

We got help with everything, from booking buses and tours to renting scooters, and the staff were unbelievably kind. The hotel is also in a perfect spot, and breakfast comes with the stay and was wonderful. You should stay here.

Check-in and checkout were quick and straightforward, and paying by card didn't cost extra. The room was cleaned, and the hotel supplied beach towels. For the price, it was good value. The bed felt a bit uncomfortable to me, though, since I prefer a firmer mattress.

The rooms were clean enough, but breakfast wasn't good. At checkout, they tried to charge me for things I hadn't used or lost.

I liked the sea view from the top floor, where you can look over the lower buildings and up toward the taller ones. The hotel is a short walk from the beach, and although it's a little outside central Nha Trang, it's still in the tourist area. There are lots of cafes and shops around, so finding dinner was easy. Street vendors tend to stick to their set prices and don't bargain much. The staff speak English and were willing to help. Breakfast had a substantial selection, with something for different tastes, I think. Our room was cleaned daily with a basic floor sweep and fresh bed linen, which suited us fine. The door lock gave me trouble and wouldn't open. A locksmith came and tried to fix it, but it clearly needed replacing. They didn't replace it during our stay, though they could come and open the door for me, so it wasn't a problem for me.
