Vitamin Sea Hostel 2 - Nha Trang

The staff let me use the showers after checkout, which I appreciated. They were friendly and also helped me book a tour. Breakfast was included, and the hostel was decent and affordable. I had a four-bed dorm. Each bed had curtains and two wall plugs, and lockers were available. The AC took a while to cool the whole room. There were two toilets and showers, though I'm not sure how many dorms there were compared with private rooms. There's an outdoor laundry drying rack, but it rained and my clothes got wet.

The staff even drove me to the bus station, so I could catch an airport shuttle for 50k instead of paying 400k for a Grab ride. That was amazing service. My room was spotless, the WiFi was strong and stable, and the location was good. There's free breakfast, modern amenities and an elevator. The staff were really friendly, and the place feels more like a hotel than a hostel. I loved staying here and would highly recommend it.

The rooftop terrace has a lovely view, and the hostel is well placed near the beach, with the train and coach stations not far away. The building and bedroom were very neat, either brand new or recently renovated, and everything was super clean. Breakfast is included, but I found it poor quality: bread, boiled eggs, coffee and tea, sometimes cold. It could be better, so I went out instead. There's a small coffee shop on the corner with delicious fresh fruit or carrot juice for only 15k VND, plus delicious Vietnamese coffee from The Metrang coffee.

The room was clean, the bed was super comfy, the staff were very friendly, and beers were cheap. It's well located. They also worked with me to arrange another way to pay, which I appreciated. I stayed in a private double room as a solo traveller, hoping the shared areas would help me meet people, but that didn't happen. Vitamin sea 2 didn't seem suited to that, though maybe vitamin sea 1 is better. Breakfast was just two pieces of white bread and an egg, nothing special and not worth getting up for. The WiFi in my room was poor, so I had to work from cafes. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs: people on the stairs were noisy, walking in flip flops and talking.
