Novaworld Resort & Villas

The kids enjoyed the pool and beach, but there were problems all around. Our house had a back door that wouldn’t lock, and we nearly had our shoes taken. The golf cars took forever. We called for service three or four times after they said they’d arrive in five minutes, which was already 20 minutes earlier, and then they didn’t reply. They probably need more drivers. The rooms looked nice, but ants and insects were crawling everywhere. The towels and pillows smelled, and the cleaning crew left several of our body washes and shampoos empty. Food choices were limited, especially for my picky kids, and many places were far away. We spent a lot of money and much of my family was unhappy. At the amusement park, lots of staff looked angry or bored, which didn’t fit a circus theme. Come here only if you’re willing to spend tons of money.

We paid a lot for a villa at Nova Land Phan Thiet, so the poor service and condition were a big disappointment. When we arrived, the water was out and stayed that way for a couple of hours, making it hard to settle in. The air conditioning also didn’t work properly, and with the heat we couldn’t get comfortable. The villa looked nice, but cleanliness was shockingly bad for this price. There were cockroaches and other bugs in the kitchen, the pool had visible dirt on the bottom and didn’t feel safe or inviting to swim in, and the sheets were stained and looked unwashed. Garbage near the playground hadn’t been cleared, making the property feel neglected. Security staff and lifeguards often seemed rude and indifferent when we needed help. Poor service, maintenance, and cleanliness overshadowed any good points. The experience was frustrating, especially for what we paid, and I wouldn’t recommend the property.

The place is new, the room was clean, and everything was decent for a cheap price. Its location across from the golf course is handy for golfers. The staff seemed inexperienced, though, and our room still wasn’t ready when we arrived at 4:30 pm. Vietnamese food was good, but the Western dishes weren’t up to the standard for serving.

I originally gave this one star, but somehow it changed to four, so I’m writing it again. If you want loyal customers, improve the transit service. There are plenty of better options than paying $100+ a night and waiting 15 minutes for a golf car, or having to walk yourself. They have only two free buses for the whole resort, one with 24 seats and the other around 50, serving over 300 rooms, plus visitors who come to the theme parks.
