The reception team made me feel at ease as soon as I arrived. They were warm, kind, and ready to help whenever I needed something. My room was comfortable and nicely designed, and the hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well kept. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. There were plenty of tasty choices, and the food was fresh and well prepared. I had a great stay at Novela Hotel, and the combination of helpful staff, good food, and a lovely hotel made it memorable. I’d recommend it to visitors in the area and would be glad to return.

The location works well for a mini mart and several restaurants, and the sea-facing rooms look straight out at the beach. This is a basic, no-frills hotel, though. The rooms have firm to hard beds and old-style fittings, and the place needs maintenance throughout. Some lounges are broken, and the decor needs repair or replacement. Room cleaning and reception staff were friendly and efficient. The restaurant staff, on the other hand, seemed unfriendly and not interested in serving. Breakfast was very basic, with only Asian dishes apart from an egg station for fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and omelettes. After the first morning of our 7 day stay, we stopped having it. There were mainly Russian guests. One evening, a group gathered by or in the jacuzzi pool with bottles and glasses, and the hotel did not manage the situation.

The beach and sea in this part of mui ne bay were extremely dirty and full of garbage, so I wouldn’t swim here. The hotel itself is traditional and basic, right on the beach and close to shops and restaurants. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with good daily housekeeping. There’s a pleasant garden, a large jacuzzi pool, and a swimming pool. Breakfast was poor, with a lot of cold food left from the day before. There was an egg station and fresh bread, but not much else to choose from.
