Seahorse Resort & Spa

The location is great and the service was very friendly. My room itself was really nice, but the view from it was poor, and the mattress and pillows were very hard. I was able to upgrade to a room with a Seaview. Dinner was mediocre, though the Breakfast Buffet was very good.

For nearly 4 million VND, our three-day, two-night package was nowhere near worth the price. I wouldn't recommend this place for a relaxing getaway. The food was disappointing: breakfast was a bland buffet, and lunch was so poorly cooked it was barely edible. At night, a karaoke group sang loudly and ruined the peaceful atmosphere. The resort asks permission to make noise for large groups, yet small groups like ours get scolded over minor noise. That double standard was extremely frustrating. Our room was old and poorly maintained, with a worn floor and a strong musty smell. The bathroom was dirty, especially the stained toilet, and the clogged drain didn't flow properly. The water was either scalding or freezing, with no way to control the temperature. The balcony door was broken and hard to open or lock. It looked onto a plain wall from the neighboring resort, so there was no view anyway. The outdated AC gave off a damp, unpleasant smell. The ceiling fan was either full blast or off, and made loud noises when running. The TV had no internet and only a few basic channels. All in all, a deeply disappointing stay.

There was loud karaoke until midnight, and we couldn't sleep. The hotel management seemed inconsiderate and unprofessional, allowing the noise to continue while ignoring guests' need for quiet. I strongly don't recommend staying here if you want rest or relaxation. I'd give zero stars if I could.

For the price, I have no complaints. The resort is good value in Mui Ne, with a spacious room, comfortable bed, helpful staff and a nice pool. One end of the pool reaches 1.8m, so it's comfortable for swimmers. Breakfast is good too. There are some very good restaurants within walking distance, including Panda. Kite surfing classes are right in front of the resort, an experience worth trying if you're staying for a couple of weeks.
