Gold Sand Beach Bungalow

It's right on a fantastic, quiet beach with nice sunbeds, and the people working here are amazing. Our room wasn't modern, but it was clean, had hot water in the shower, and the AC worked. Don't be put off by the last kilometer of the drive. It's a fantastic destination for families or anyone wanting a peaceful break from the big cities.

I don't know how this place has any good reviews. I booked through booking.com and was told before I arrived that, because of overbooking, my room had to be downgraded. I was fine with that, but when I called for directions, no one answered. I drove for an hour and ended up literally in the middle of nowhere. The listed address takes you there, and I tried contacting them several times but got no reply. At 2 am I had to book another hotel. Two days later I found they had charged my account a no-show fee, which is insane and corrupt. Now they won't respond to my request to waive the cancellation fees.

The setting is peaceful and beautiful, far from the busy cities we visited on our Vietnam tour. We had a lovely beach to ourselves, with calm, clear water that was perfect for swimming. It's also only a 10-minute drive to Grand World, so it's easy to explore while still having a relaxing base. The rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, with good air conditioning. We spotted giant tokay geckos, large toads, and lots of little lizards and geckos outside, which added a special bit of charm. Minh and Son made the stay unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. Their hospitality was warm, genuine, and caring. Minh looked after every detail, brought us delicious local fruit to try, and offered to drive us wherever we needed to go. We felt less like guests and more like family. Son cooked the food to order, and it was full of flavor. Breakfasts were fantastic, especially the coffee, and every meal was freshly made to suit us. They even prepared some dishes that weren't on the menu. The lovely food, setting, and staff made the simple rooms more than worthwhile. Thank you both for such a special experience!

We had the whole place to ourselves for five days, and it felt almost like a deserted island, except someone cooked three meals a day for us. The beach was awesome, perfect for children, and it was all so relaxing. The owner was extremely nice, and they picked us up from the airport. Such an amazing experience. If you want to escape the crowds, this is the place.
