Le Palmier Phu Quoc Hotel

The property looked damaged and poorly maintained when we arrived, and there was no owner or responsible manager available to help guests or address concerns. People nearby told us the owner had reportedly run away, which was shocking to hear. We didn’t feel comfortable staying, so we immediately booked another hotel. We’d booked through Agoda expecting a reliable stay, and the poor condition and lack of management were extremely disappointing. It’s surprising the property is still listed there. Booking platforms shouldn’t allow places like this to stay listed until management, maintenance, and guest support are in place. Travelers should be cautious.

We were welcomed with a free drink, and the room was clean with a small fridge. The location made it easy to get to popular attractions. Staff were helpful, especially Kim Quỳnh (Quinie), who arranged a Grab for us and helped courier a ring we’d accidentally left behind after checkout. We only realized it was missing once we reached Sunset Town. A simple, pleasant hotel for a comfortable stay, highly recommended.

The location was amazing, but the service and room service were horrible. My parents had asked for sandwiches the morning before and accidentally ordered four, so when I asked for wonton noodles from the breakfast menu, my request was denied. The toilet was clogged, and the room wasn’t properly serviced even though I’d put the sign outside. They told me room service happens at 8am. Towels were left in the room, but the beds weren’t changed. Very disappointing.

The staff’s service was excellent, and the hotel was clean and well located within walking distance of Grand World attractions. The rooms are a bit small, but we had an excellent stay.
