Very shady. They confirmed my reservation and payment, then cancelled two days before I travelled and rented the room to someone else. There was a big poker tournament nearby, rooms were in high demand, and I believe they wanted more money. They don't answer the phone. Stay far away, they can ruin your holiday.

The room seemed good, but the male staff member was extremely rude. We booked through agoda and texted to ask for an early check-in but got no reply. When we arrived, no room was ready. After our long fight, we asked for a temporary room, and the man made a big fuss. A young caretaker understood our situation and gave us a room, while he kept shouting at her. About an hour later, they moved us to another hotel because a room was available there.

We paid 2500inr, which seemed in line with what the place offers. It's across the road from the teddy bear museum in grand world, but compared with places facing the vanice canel, I'd call the location average. We had a 160sqft quadraple room with two queen beds, but once the furniture was in, there was hardly any space. The bathroom was tiny, about 17sqft. There's no lift and no ground-floor rooms, so you'll have to carry your luggage upstairs yourself. Nobody is available to help. The host is around for only a few hours in the morning after 9am and in the evening after 6pm. The rest of the time there's no one at reception or in housekeeping, so don't expect cleaning or other service. The AC barely cooled the room, even after we complained several times.

I'd give zero stars if I could. They confirmed our booking, then cancelled it just a day before chekin, claiming payment hadn't arrived, even though booking.com didn't have payment approved. The host is useless and seems happy to ruin people's holidays. I've seen multiple reviews describing similar problems. Avoid booking here if you don't want your holiday ruined.
