Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc

Brian and Sam really made our visit special. They were kind, professional, and went out of their way to help, even with things beyond their usual responsibilities. The whole staff was friendly and attentive, and it was clear they cared about making our stay a good one. The resort itself was beautiful and well kept, with spacious rooms, good food, and a comfortable, relaxing feel. We had a wonderful time at Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc. It exceeded our expectations, and we’d happily return. Thanks again to Brian and Sam! 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The staff were the best part of our group trip. Jun from Guest Relations was so friendly, always smiling, and a pleasure to deal with. At Altitude 8 – Sky Bistro, Mint and Rina took such good care of us and made our group feel extra special. They were sweet and made sure we had what we needed. We also loved waking up to the view from our comfortable room at the Mövenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc. The resort sits right on a beautiful beach, so it has a really relaxing feel. We had a great time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beachfront stay with a team that goes out of its way to make guests happy.

The nurse on duty was the one bright spot. She was very helpful and took good care of my injured feet. I fell and hurt my toes, but the buggies still took 20-30 minutes to come to my room each time. Even though there were free, empty buggies, my daughter had to push me in a wheelchair all the way to reception just so I could get into a cab. They expected guests to make that trip from the villa in a wheelchair. As an Accor gold member, I’ve never had this kind of poor service at another Accor property. The Premium 2 bedroom villa also fell short of the standard, with no mirror in the room and nowhere to put toiletries in the bathroom. The beach was dirty and covered in trash. I won’t come back or recommend the property to friends or family.

The food and evening atmosphere were highlights. The breakfast had plenty of choices, with halal and non-halal notes to help guests choose. I especially liked the meat Pho, and the lunch and dinner set menus were great. Aura beach club had light DJ music and live performances while we watched the sunset and ate with a sea view. Movenpick is part of an international hotel chain, so you can expect a certain level of quality. The resort is a great place to get away, with nice rooms and balconies. Service could be better, though. I put my laundry in the bag as instructed and told reception to collect it, but nobody picked it up. On my second morning, I ordered an egg at the station using the table note, but it never arrived.
