Pu Hmong Eco Retreat had a cozy treehouse feel, gorgeous views, and a tranquil atmosphere. The family made the stay feel special and relaxing, and were welcoming, helpful, and flexible with our arrangements throughout. We had a brilliant day hike with a local guide. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and it was great to have filtered water and really good coffee too, from lattes to espresso, just what you want after a morning in the mountains. A beautiful place to stay, highly recommended.

The family running this homestay made us feel so welcome and cared for while we were in Sapa. It felt like a real home away from home, and might be the best place we’ve stayed during nearly four months of travel. The rooms are lovely, everything is spotless and thoughtfully arranged, and the beds are unbelievably comfortable. If I could give it more stars, I would. I’d tell anyone looking for somewhere to stay to pick this homestay. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

Lee was especially kind and helpful, and the family atmosphere was lovely, with the kids and grandparents all together. We enjoyed the tasty meals made to order, and our room and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms have recently been remodeled and feel clean and fresh. The hillside setting looks out over the valley, and the pool is a nice extra.

Dinner was wonderful, with traditional local food, and we really appreciated that our hosts arranged a celebration for my wife's birthday. The scenery was beautiful and peaceful, and the service was kind. It’s a good base for local trekking. Just arrange transport from downtown ahead of time, so you’re not left waiting too long.

ChaPa Farmstay is surrounded by beautiful, quiet nature. Most of all, we loved meeting the family, who welcomed us so warmly and served delicious food. We felt right at home and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended ❤️
