The people working here were helpful, and the plants, even in the bathroom, give the place a lovely feel close to nature. The beach is nearby and easy to reach on foot. Breakfast was reasonable, though it didn’t suit Indian tourists very well. They could ask visitors what they’d like and learn to make a couple of dishes. The bathroom is partly open to the sky, so insects get in. Also, the last 400 meters to the hotel are along a sloping side road, which can be a bit of a workout if you’re not very fit.

We’d gladly come back. Palma resort is spacious, beautifully laid out, and the rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were always smiling, polite, and ready to help. Breakfast wasn’t a huge buffet, but it did have some vegan and vegetarian choices. We had nothing to complain about and really recommend staying here.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There were lizards and ants, and the rooms were poor enough that I ended up paying an extra $25 CAD per night to move somewhere better. The customer service was awful too. They always seemed too busy to talk with tourists, though they were very chatty with Vietnamese speakers. At checkout I asked Dung and Thing for help with my luggage. Those were the names they gave me, though I can’t be sure they were telling the truth. They were too busy to help then, too.

The buffet breakfast was pretty good. Our room was fine, though it needed a bigger bed. We had two rooms and the fridges in both were defective. If you’re downstairs, noise from upstairs carries easily.
