Peppercorn Beach

The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, with a good bathroom and strong shower pressure. The decor is tasteful, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the food is great, especially the breakfast buffet. They also handled my gluten-free diet very well. Since the resort wasn't full, they kindly upgraded us to a beachfront room. We stayed five nights in late November, as the good season was starting. It's a lovely little beach resort, a five-minute walk from the village and market. There's no proper beach, but a wide sandy strip with palm trees and loungers, plus stone edging and steps into the sea. The water was clear with a sandy bottom and good for swimming, though currents sometimes brought plastic. The seawater pool was closed for maintenance. It was windy for the first few days, with pleasant temperatures of 24-29°C. There were lots of families with small children.

The Beach Bungalows are a really nice, relaxing spot beside a charming, authentic village. Breakfast is outstanding, and the service is among the best I've experienced in Vietnam. They clean the beach every day, and kayaks are free. There's also a good snorkeling spot nearby, depending on the weather. To save on food and drinks at the resort, you can visit the local shops and merchants a few hundred meters away, put some things in the fridge, and enjoy a sundowner.

The sea-facing room was amazing, and the restaurant was far better than the local places we tried. We stayed three nights and would happily have stayed longer. Everyone was unbelievably kind and helpful, and we felt right at home. They arranged a motorbike rental for us, which made it easy to get around the island. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Peppercorn Resort is on a beautiful beach where we could explore the coral reef and underwater life. We had a great stay, enjoyed the delicious food, and found the staff welcoming and authentic. There are lots of activities too, including a sailing trip with Pierre and a gym we enjoyed.
