We planned on staying for two nights, but ended up here for six. It was handy for the supermarket, food at all hours, and the night market and tourist area. We could leave our mopeds there easily, and the host even brought them inside overnight. We’d seen it online but couldn’t book because of Wi-Fi issues, so we just turned up hoping for a triple room. The host was friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and, despite being on the Main Street, really quiet and peaceful, apart from the occasional cockerel. Great value, and the Wi-Fi worked well everywhere, so Google Translate helped with communication. Highly recommend.

It turned out to be a good option when almost every hotel in Phu Quoc looked fully booked online. We usually don’t book ahead, so we went with this place as the most promising of the few still available. We first reserved two nights to see how it was, then extended to five. Even when it shows as full online, rooms may still be available if you go there in person. It’s a straightforward guesthouse, and everything in the room worked. The owner was kind, even though we communicated through Google Translate. We had no room problems, the Wi-Fi was strong, and there was a hot shower. Restaurants are a two-to-five-minute walk away, and the night market is nearby. It was a satisfactory stay overall. One thing to know: the owner said they’re only affiliated with Agoda and Traveloka, so don’t book through third-party apps. We booked on Expedia, but the owner said they hadn’t received it. We got a refund through Expedia and paid upfront instead. The first room was 250k per night; when we returned, we paid 350k. Still very cheap, even around Christmas and New Year. The only downside was that the guesthouse closes around 11 PM, so we had to call the owner to let us in. Aside from that, everything went smoothly. Highly recommend!
