The room was booked for two people sharing, but we were given only one key. We asked several times for another and got no explanation or help. There was also no staff to carry luggage from reception to the room, which was frustrating for a hotel describing itself as central. A lot of Indian guests were staying there, but breakfast had no Indian food options. At checkout, I was charged USD 30 over a small spot on a bath towel, an amount that felt arbitrary and excessive. In another incident, a guest was blamed for a stain on a white towel, though he said it was his own towel. It was checked and confirmed that it did not belong to the hotel, yet staff still treated it as his fault. That felt incompetent and harassing. The hotel showed poor guest management and transparency, with arbitrary penalties and an unprofessional attitude. Guests are treated with suspicion instead of courtesy. My stay was thoroughly unpleasant and showed a lack of basic hospitality and fairness. I’d strongly advise families and international travelers to avoid it unless they’re prepared for inconvenience, unfair charges and needless disputes.

We stayed in December 2025. The restaurant team and chefs were very friendly and humble, and the tofu was really nice. There weren’t many vegetarian options, though. Reception and housekeeping staff were not friendly at all. Beware of the reception and hospitality team. They accused us of staining towels or bed sheets and tried to charge us, even though the marks could easily come out in one wash. We came away thinking all hotels in Vietnam might be like this. The pool is outside the hotel by the road, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The stay was fine overall, but I’d choose somewhere else.

The cleanliness claims felt misleading to me. Sheets and towels weren’t changed every day, which raised hygiene concerns. At checkout, staff seemed focused on getting extra money, adding stress while guests were rushing to catch flights. Very unprofessional, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to foreign nationals.

Cockroaches were the main problem during my stay. On the first day in my sixth-floor room below the restaurant, I found two huge ones. When a staff member came to spray, another ran out. He tried to help, but didn’t understand English very well, and at one point laughed while I was clearly stressed. That made me uncomfortable. After I insisted, I was moved to a street-facing room. It was quite noisy, so earplugs might help, but at least there were no cockroaches there. In both rooms, the walls behind the desk were very damp on the bathroom side, which made me think there could be a leak. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow in the evenings, though it improved after I reported it at reception. Sometimes a strong cigarette smell came through the ventilation. The breakfasts were very good and the hotel was okay overall, but I have mixed feelings about it.

The room was a little small, but it was clean, so that didn’t bother us. The hotel is in a good spot and is kept up well, with regular cleaning. The reception staff were polite and helpful; the two women there even arranged a tour when we asked.
