Viet house (Nha viet)

We called this place home for a month and a half. The Vietnamese family renting out several apartments were lovely, and they bake delicious buns. They also have a sweet dog named Baguette.

January on Phu Quoc felt like paradise for us northerners from Yakutia. We were glad we chose the whole villa with friends. It’s in a quiet area, which suited us, and it felt safe. The Sonasea night market is close by, with cafes, shops, and a 68mart grocery store. The beach is clean and about a 600-meter walk down the street. At night we saw glowing plankton in the wet sand, dug some out, ate them, and fried them with garlic. That was such a fun and interesting experience. We also took the free number 19 bus from the Muang Hotel stop a couple of times to Grand World, Vinwonders, and Vin Safari. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and treated us to traditional Vietnamese dishes for the Eastern New Year. We went to see the big fireworks in the Sunset area, which were absolutely beautiful. Thank you for being so hospitable!

The house is spacious and clean, and the hosts gave us such a warm welcome and were helpful throughout. There’s a pool, a small kitchen, a washing machine, and every room has its own bathroom. The beach and night market are nearby, and they even offer free morning yoga. Thanks to the hosts! 🙏
