The ocean view from the balcony was incredible, and the beach was only a few minutes away. We had a privately rented apartment with loads of space, and for the affordable price, we really couldn't have asked for more. I'd definitely recommend it.

Breakfast on the 41st floor was a lovely way to start the day, with a wide choice of fresh, high-quality food and spectacular views. The sea is right by the main boulevard, just a two-minute walk away, and I found the room peaceful, beautifully designed, and very comfortable. The bed was great, and the blackout curtains helped me sleep without interruption. What stood out most was how warmly and professionally I was treated. The staff were kind and sincere, and their English made everything easy to communicate. I’ve stayed at many five- and six-star hotels around the world, and the service here matched or even surpassed some of the most exclusive ones. I was personally shown to my room and had everything explained clearly. When I messaged reception about a small problem with the shower drain, they dealt with it quickly and without hassle. One day, while I sat in reception planning my day, someone brought me a cold lemon juice without me asking. Little gestures like that felt thoughtful. My stay was originally February 23 to March 1, but I extended it to March 4 because of the service, comfort, and location. I felt welcomed and valued from the moment I arrived, and it was hard to leave. I recommend TMS Grand SeaView Hotel in Quy Nhon with confidence. The main reason I would not stay here again is the fire safety setup. The property told us that smoke and carbon monoxide detectors do not sound inside the rooms. They only show a small blinking light, while staff are supposed to come up and check if the control panel reports an alarm. That could mean waiting 2-5 minutes for someone to arrive, and a power outage could also leave the elevator unavailable. If someone is asleep or in the bathroom, they might not even know there is smoke. The property argued that guests should wait for staff or keep an eye on anything that might cause smoke or fire. They said room alarms would disturb other guests, though they may evacuate three floors over a small amount of smoke that could be cleared by opening the door if the occupant were alerted. In my view, this is an inefficient setup and a serious failure of basic guest safety. There are some positives: the location is convenient for the beach, restaurants, and services, and the small modern apartments have the expected basics. The rooms are separate, so noise usually isn't a problem. But if safety is your top priority, I don't think this place is worth the risk.

After speaking with the Head of Security and Technician, I was told the smoke detectors don't sound in the apartment. Only the hallway alarm goes off, and staff are meant to come inform the room if someone notices the alert on the control panel. In our case, they shut off the electricity. Your safety depends on someone monitoring that panel and reaching your floor before the power goes out. This happened while I was cooking fish on the stovetop and smoke began filling the room. Two staff members came up because their system had flagged our detector, but nothing sounded in our apartment. There are four smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and three sprinklers in the unit, yet there were no room alarms, lights, or working sprinklers. We could have opened the doors and windows if we had been alerted. We had to sign a report and were told we'd pay a fine, despite the lack of warning to us. Why don't the detectors do their basic job? And why should one unit's smoke set off an alarm for three floors? I wouldn't recommend this hotel to guests or residents concerned about basic safety. If something goes wrong, the response could be delayed, and the blame may be put on you.
