We loved the firm mattress and the heater after being out in the winter cold. The omelette at breakfast was delicious, and we often spent time petting the kittens. The room was cozy enough that we could easily have stayed more than five days. The balcony view was awe-inspiring, especially at sunrise and sunset. Inside, the room was beautifully decorated, with lots of storage and artful wooden walls and furniture. Our host was welcoming and sweet, let us check in early, and made sure we were comfortable and looked after. The shower didn't always have hot water, and there was no bathtub, but those things didn't outweigh the quality of the room and service.

They accept the request and then say there are no rooms. The host was not good at all. You spend a lot on a cab, and then they cancel. I would never recommend this place. PLEASE don't book here.

The pool was spotless and refreshingly cool in the heat. The room was very clean, and water and breakfast were included. They also offered laundry for 60k/kg. We liked the location, and the nearby village was free to enter. It's a 15-minute taxi ride from Sa Pa, costing 150k. We were grateful they let us check in at 6:30am without an extra charge. Our sleeper arrived early that morning, and we were exhausted. We thought we were the only guests until we saw a couple in the morning!

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The room itself was spacious and new, though, and breakfast was good. They make the coffee in the Vietnamese tradition. The hotel had only opened five months ago, and the location has a very nice valley view. There's also a pool, but the water was cold when we were there, so we didn't swim.

Dinh was a welcoming host and cooked delicious food. The rooms were comfortable, the balcony view was amazing, and the price was very affordable for what you get. This was easily the best place we stayed during our whole time in Vietnam. Strongly recommend Arista Homestay!
