Central Sapa March Hotel

Good value and clean, with fresh bedding and towels, water, a kettle, TV, and aircon. One thing to know is that you enter through the massage parlour. The mattresses are very firm, so bear that in mind if you have back problems. A solid option for travellers watching their budget.

A pleasant hotel right in central Sa Pa, with quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. My bicycle came with me, and although the host initially suggested leaving it outside, he was happy to let me bring it indoors overnight and store it in the corridor on my floor. The ground-floor massage room made the entrance a little confusing at first. Some parts of the hotel could use maintenance, but the room had a kettle, water, instant coffee, and good wifi. A good base for visiting the area.

We arrived late, but the owner was there to meet us, cheerful and very friendly. He answered our questions, talked us through the room, and suggested a few excursion options. He even let us choose between a street-facing room and a quieter one so we could get a better night's sleep. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and everything we needed: wardrobe, TV, heating, and air conditioning. The inside-facing room felt especially peaceful.

The host made our late arrival easy by sending clear directions for getting inside, and in the morning he shared recommendations that helped us have a great time in Sapa. He was really friendly and spoke good English. The hotel is right in the centre, near lots of good places to eat and things to do. Our room looked just like the photos, and the beds were comfortable. I'd happily stay again.
