Fansipan View Hotel

They even upgraded our room for free, and the service was excellent despite the affordable price. The staff are attentive, kind, and speak good English. The food is delicious, including the free breakfast, and the room was cleaned daily. There’s also affordable laundry service, and they have a heated pool! Our whole family had a wonderful time at Fansipan view Hotel. It’s quiet and safe, with a beautiful view, but still close to the city. Nearby attractions are an easy walk, and most places can also be reached by Grab. This has become our favorite hotel in Sapa, and we’ll definitely come back and book here again. I highly recommend it to friends and family. It’s underrated, but truly one of the best.

The room was comfortable and spacious, and we liked having a balcony. We stayed five nights, and the place looked just like the pictures. Mold was the main problem, especially on the 5th floor. You could smell it as soon as the elevator doors opened, and our first room had so much mold it was pretty disgusting. We asked to move, but the hotel was fully booked, so it took two days. We looked at a few other rooms and found mold in all of them, so we settled for one with less.

We stayed seven nights, and the service was fantastic. The staff were super kind and friendly, and breakfast had a nice variety. The pool is great, and I’d come back again. I have no major negatives, but showering soaked the floor and made it dangerous. As the owner of a cleaning business, I’m very picky, and I noticed some areas had been missed when dusting, so I’d rate it 4.5 stars. Chairs for the balcony and pads for the pool chairs would be nice too. Thanks.

The room offered no view when we booked because of the fog, so this seems better suited to summer. The hotel also felt pricey for its location, with an uphill alley walk to reach central Sapa. I wouldn't recommend it for seniors or families with kids unless they're prepared to pay for a cab. The bathroom floor got very wet after showers and needs an extra mat. It also felt unsafe, and the rooms don't block hallway noise at all. Being woken at 6am by repair banging near the headboard was especially annoying.
