Hotel Sapa Square, Affiliated by Meliá

I was very disappointed with the meal. My girlfriend really didn't like the fish because its sauce tasted acidic. I asked for my meat rare and got it well-done instead, and my sparkling water came still. The waitress was nice, but seemed lost and unfamiliar with the menu, and was looking at her phone. That's a shame, she should learn the menu. The place itself is nice, but the food wasn't to my taste. Maybe the chef should review your order.

We spent six nights here with family and friends. The central location opposite Sun Plaza Sapa Train station to Fansipan was very convenient. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. One morning, the Assistant GM came around asking about our stay. A friend had trouble with the TV channels, and although reception couldn't fix it the night before, she took it seriously and the issue was sorted by the time we returned that afternoon. I really appreciated that. Our deluxe room had a balcony and a good view by day or night, and breakfast was great. Restaurant staff and the manager were also attentive, quick, and friendly. I hope the menu adds more variety, perhaps Chinese and Indian food alongside what's available outside, to draw hotel guests and others in. The rooftop bar could use some live [unclear in source]. Both ideas could also help market the hotel. Thanks for the hospitality. ☺️🥰

Jayce, the main man at the front desk, made our few days at Sapa Square in April 2026 one of our most pleasant stays. He went far beyond what I expected: when my buddy lost Gucci prescription glasses on the mountains in Fancipan, Jayce contacted Fancipan Starbucks lost and found, where the glasses had indeed turned up, and arranged their return between the owner and the person who found them. He speaks English well and quickly made us feel looked after. We felt comfortable asking him for help with Sapa tours, activities, transport, food, currency exchange, and other things. He's a natural at customer service. We seriously consider coming back to Hotel Sapa Square because of the service we experienced with Jayce.

Eleven was especially enthusiastic and funny, and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, while breakfast offered a decent range of choices. Hotel Sapa Square is right in the center, which made getting around and exploring easy. I had a great stay and would recommend it.
