The beds were really comfortable and the showers had hot water. My friend and I booked a twin room for two nights and loved our stay at Van Hung Hotel. The host was always welcoming when we got back after a long day, and he did his best to answer questions and sort out requests. We rented two motorbikes through him, which I’d recommend in Sapa. One didn’t meet our standards, but he called right away to get us a replacement.

Our friends had a city view from their room, while ours looked out at the mountains. We stayed two nights, and the rooms were very clean. It was as advertised for once, lol. Our friends even stayed nine hours past checkout and only had to pay a couple of dollars extra. Great place for the price, and I’d definitely recommend it.

The rooms were spotless and very well priced for what you get, with great views as a bonus. The hosts are extremely friendly and happy to help with any issue or request. I’ll stay here again.

I went to SP in October. The room was fairly clean and suited the price, but the service was awful. When I arrived to check in early, the owner's wife greeted me with a really grumpy attitude, even though I’d already discussed the booking with the owner. Later I rented a motorbike without checking it carefully and got a flat tire riding out at night in the rain and wind. I called the hotel for help, but the staff basically told me to deal with it myself. I’m okay, but I promised myself I’d never come back.
