Tru by Hilton Thai Binh City Centre

I was impressed as soon as I entered the bright, open, clean lobby at Tru by Hilton Thai Binh City Centre. It’s spacious and modern, with places to work, relax, or hang out. The pool table, gym, laundry, luggage storage, and restrooms are all easy to access and feel thoughtfully arranged. This brand-new Hilton property opened in June, and this was my first stay with Tru, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My first room didn’t work for me, so I asked to switch. I was a little uneasy since it was my first Tru stay, but the second room was more comfortable and had a great view. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were pleasant overall. The reception team didn’t greet me as a Diamond member in the usual Hilton way. I’m willing to put that down to a possible language barrier. Breakfast was decent for a budget-friendly brand. I’d suggest keeping bacon separate from vegetarian items and adding more tongs so guests don’t use the same ones for everything. I stuck to bread and cereal because of that. It’s a small thing, but matters to guests with dietary preferences. The Operations Manager made a big difference after I raised my concerns. He listened carefully, was respectful and attentive, and apologized sincerely. I felt heard and valued, and his professionalism gave me confidence the hotel will keep improving as it settles into Hilton standards. I usually don’t return to a hotel after problems during a stay, but I’ll come back on my next trip to Thai Binh. I’m curious to see how the team builds on this promising, appealing place. With some adjustments, it has the potential to be exceptional. A good start for a new hotel, with a beautiful space and a team willing to learn.
